are meeting with yet another publisher later today (I ) sich heute wieder mit einem anderen publisher treffen. es ist ein weiter weg, aber "man kann immer glück haben..."

In regards to last week's events, there is no official announcement yet from Cyan. But in the interests of clarifying the situation, the following is Ubisoft's official statement on the matter:
For the past 4 years Ubisoft has been proud to work with Cyan Worlds on the Myst brand, and we are saddened by the decision to close the doors of their games production unit. While this event is a sad day for Myst fans and gamers everywhere, it does not in any way affect the upcoming launch of Myst V: End of Ages which is already in manufacturing at this time. Ubisoft is continuing full steam ahead with the launch of Myst V: End of Ages, the Grand Finale of the Greatest Adventure Game of all time.
While the production unit has been disbanded, Cyan will continue as a company, pursuing new endeavors for the future. In the next few weeks, Cyan is expecting to provide more information about their plans. Other than this, Ubisoft has no additional information about Cyan or their future plans.

The meetings went very well from Cyan's perspective. It's up to the publisher now. Usually, it's weeks or months waiting to hear back when you give one of these pitches. But they understand that time is of the essence and have said that they'll get back with Cyan sometime next week.
If you all don't mind continuing your prayers, wishes, and if your fingers, toes, eyes, arms, legs, etc. can handle being crossed a while longer...

The two day non-stop meetings went very well. We have a true champion
there and everyone was very nice! and geniune! and interested! I'm

employment but it would be fun and refreshing working with them. But it

Eigentlich schauen wir zur Zeit über den Tellerrand hinaus und über den wir hier sprechen (also den Publisher) muss zur Zeit nicht unbedingt auf dieser Liste stehen (es geht um diese Spielehersteller-Liste, über die man wohl im Laufe der Diskussion gesprochen hatte). Langsam glaube ich daran, dass das auch gut so ist. Auf die Langzeitentwicklung zu schauen, war nicht immer eine Sicherheit in der Spieleindustrie.
Die zwei Tage Nonstop-Meeting sind sehr gut verlaufen. Wir haben da einen wahren Favoriten und alle waren sehr nett! und authentisch! und interessiert! Ich hoffe, dass wir mit diesen Leuten zusammenkommen werden, nicht nur um wieder Arbeit zu haben, sondern weil es auch Freude und ein erfrischendes Erlebnis wäre, mit ihnen zusammenzuarbeiten. Aber es ist immer noch ein langer Weg ...
