4th ANNUAL D'NI ST. PATRICK'S PARADE AND PARTY BEING HELD FRIDAY MARCH 14TH BEGINNING AT 6PM EDT

Not much time left before the event so get out there and practice. It's harder than many may think when there's a large crowd in the hood.

Tomorrow...Saturday May 8th at 2pm in the UruTapestry hood.....we will be having a dress rehearsal for the parade with marching music. Everyone is invited to attend...the more the merrier. You'll need TeamSpeak installed. I've already posted the link but for those who don't want to scroll back on the thread you can get it free at http://goteamspeak.com We will be using the UruTapestry TeamSpeak server and you can Quick Connect by using UruTapestry.us If you want to register to the server, click on Connect and not Quick Connect and in the second box type the IP 72.232.227.5:8767 type in your user name and check the box below that says Register. It's a good idea for those who don't have TS to get that done prior to the parade in an effort to eliminate some problem solving on the day of the event. So if you are unable to get to the rehearsal, please try to come in during the week and get that done. You will not be able to hear the march music or the announcers if you aren't logged into the UruTapestry TeamSpeak server. Our Technical Advisor Anthony will be available to help anyone who has trouble with getting TS to work for them.

This year I'm happy to announce that GreyDragon will be GrandMarshal and ResEng T. Appling will be Aide to the Grand Marshal. Unfortunately Rand is away on vacation and neither GreyDragon nor myself has gotten a response to our email's to him. However, when he gets back and if he decides that he wants to march this year. We will give him the title of Honored Dignitary CEO of CyanWorlds. I still have no idea if any of the other Cyanists will attend and if they do, if they'll march or just mingle. That's still up in the air.

4th Annual D'ni St. Patrick's Parade and Party
Today beginning at 6pm EDT

Yep......we're only hours away now and only last minute touches left to do. Not much more I can say that hasn't already been said...except Come One....Come All......join in and have some fun. For those of you who have already canceled your accounts...come in using the visitors pass. The event is being held in the hoods which will be open to visitors..So if possible join us.

I'd like to take a moment to thank the amazing group of people who have volunteered their time and energy to work on the Parade Committee. Without their tireless efforts, this event would not be possible. You guys are just awesome...Thumbs up.

Don't forget the event is not over when the parade ends. The party begins so stick around, dance, sing and enjoy each others company.

I see we have pics from TMP, Amber Horizon and the Parade hood. I do have a few from the GoG. Did anyone take pics that they'd like to share in the UO hood, the REBEL hood and the German hood? I'm trying to create a slide show and would love to have all hoods...Smile

Thanks to this amazing committee assembled this year. You all are what WE are all about in this great world we live in. Each year for this event and others that I've managed to organize, some of the most and energetic and dedicated people in the cavern gather together to make up a great team....working together towards one common goal. More than that it's the wonderful coming together of this fantastic community that always brings me to tears. No online game in the world has ever been able accomplish that. Everyone must know that no one person can ever pull off something like this. It takes a dedicated team and the co-operation of the entire community...and every time I see this happen, I am in awe but realize why I keep coming back again and again....I applaud you all, I salute your all and I bow to you all....

I have no idea where I'll go or what I'll do when they take it all down. I'll hang on until the end,that's for sure. Now that the biggest part of the parade is over....I'll visit the planned activities for our time left and maybe check out SL and There if I can get an invite to the Uru areas..... Mari has offered to take me on a tour of Guild Wars and LotR's. They're fighting games and I'm a klutz with the controls so I don't think I'll land there. I have this thing about killing and getting killed. Mostly I'll stick around the forums and TCT. I will never stop promoting UruLive and will always hope for it's return. The final day, I'll visit the city and hood hop.....but will go to the UO hood and wait for the end. I began in the UO hood and I'll end in the UO hood..sitting on my light waiting and looking for old friends and hood mates. I will not say goodbye to anyone and don't expect me to. I'll say "Farewell Until We Meet Again" and wish you all "God's Speed"

Vielen Dank an das großartige diesjährige Komitee. Ihr alle seid was WIR überall auf der Welt sind. Jedes Jahr kommen bei diesem und anderen Events, die ich organisiert habe, einige der aktivsten und engagiertesten Leute in den Höhlen zusammen um ein tolles Team zu bilden...arbeiten zusammen für ein gemeinsames Ziel. Mehr als alles andere rührt mich das wundervolle Zusammenkommen dieser fantastischen Community zu Tränen. Kein anderes Onlinespiel auf der Welt konnte so etwas jemals erreichen. Jeder sollte wissen, das kein Einzelner so etwas bewältigen kann. Man braucht immer ein engagiertes Team und die Kooperation der gesamten Community...und jedes mal, wenn ich sehe wie das geschieht, bin ich beeindruckt und weiß, warum ich immer wieder und wieder komme..ich applaudiere euch allen, salutiere und verbeuge mich vor euch allen...

Ich habe keine Idee, wo ich hingehe oder was ich machen werde, wenn die Server runterfahren werden. Ich werde bis zum Schluss bleiben, soviel ist sicher. Nun, da der größte Teil der Parade vorüber ist...werde ich die noch anstehenden geplanten Aktionen besuchen und SL [Second Life] und There probieren wenn ich eine Einladung für die Uru-Gebiete bekomme...Mari hat mir eine Führung durch Guild Wars und LotR's angeboten. Das sind Kampfspiele und ich bin schon zu trottelig für die Steuerung, so dass ich [schon deswegen] nicht dort landen werde. Ist so eine Sache mit töten und getötet werden. Ich werde vorwiegend in den Foren und bei TCT bleiben. Ich werde nicht aufhören UruLive zu promoten und auf eine Rückkehr hoffen. Am letzten Tag werde ich in Ae'gura sein und durch die Gemeinden ziehen...aber zum Ende werde ich in der UO-Gemeinde sein. Ich begann in der UO-Gemeinde, und dort werde ich es auch beenden...auf meiner Lampe sitzend und auf alte Freunde und Nachbarn warten und Ausschau nach ihnen halten. Ich werde zu niemandem "lebe wohl" sagen, und erwartet das auch nicht von mir. Ich werde sagen "Mach's gut bis wir uns wieder sehen" und euch allen "Gottes Segen" wünschen.
